In the toaster or in the frying pan
For sliced bread or thin slices, a toaster is very convenient. The bread defrosts and browns simultaneously, offering a texture similar to freshly toasted bread. A few minutes in a pan over low heat also yields a warm and flavorful result.
The microwave, use with caution
This is the least recommended solution. Microwaving bread tends to soften it, and it then hardens very quickly. If you really have no other option, use the defrost function and heat it in very short bursts, watching it carefully.
When properly frozen and thawed, bread can regain much of its original appeal, and transform a simple slice straight from the freezer into a truly indulgent moment of everyday life.
