Grant lowered his voice. “What exactly do you mean by that smile?”

Then she turned to Rosa. “I think I’m ready to leave.”
As Rosa wheeled her toward the doors, Evelyn glanced back once. Grant was still staring at her. Chloe had slipped her hand into the crook of his arm, but for the first time all evening, her expression had gone flat.
