“After your cousin’s body was brought in this morning, someone came and she requested that I bring it outside for her to… » he stopped abruptly, and his gaze met that of Daniel’s then he looked down.
“Yes? Who is the she and why did she request for it? » Daniel who was almost getting infuriated questioned.
“I can’t sir… I can’t. She paid me not to mention her name. I’m just telling you this because my mind has been pushing me to let it out.”
Daniel didn’t say anything again.
He slowly untied his seatbelt and opened the car door.
Mr Adeyemi’s legs began to quiver as soon as Daniel stepped out. He knew he could be sued. Maybe if he had known, he wouldn’t have told Daniel anything.
His heart was beating terribly.
And just then, the car door opened again.
